Below is a recent example of what is now possible in terms of digital manipulation and editing. This project was a picture of a couple taken in approximately the mid 1940's that was obviously in bad shape; badly creased and wrinkled with missing content. The original hard copy was only roughly 2 inches by 2 inches at most (it was blown up upon scanning). All editing work was done with Adobe Photoshop. With the quality of current generation inkjet and laser printers, this shot can be reprinted and look almost original.
